  1. nope

  2. no the size might be different and it might say its different but it is all the same just some people feel better when they see it is just for girls but it is the same

  3. Hey Max,

Like "Laurieki" said, mens and women's shorts either in straight Lycra or Mountain bike shorts w/ Lycra liner are totally different.  Women's cycling shorts are usually cut shorter in the in seam area and the chamois is a lot smaller, shaped different and tucked under way deeper than a man's cycling short.

I have a friend who purchased a women's Lycra cycling short by accident and when he put on the shorts his Beans and Frank were totally Camel Toed, because the chamois was too small in the front.  Eeek!

If you are looking for a shorter men's cycling short, check out mens Tri-athlete type shorts. They run with a shorter inseam and are made for men and women.  Hope this helps ya.

  4. Yeah they are a little different in the cut, and if you have padded shorts then the chamois is differently positioned and shaped as well.

That's not to say that women can't wear men's shorts and vice versa - generally the s*x-appropriate ones are more comfortable, but if the opposite s*x version is better for you then go for it!

  5. yes, they are cut differently
