David Suzuki (among others) has presented a rather bleak view of the future--but he has been doing that for decades. People are starting to listen, and they don't like what they're hearing; now, the culture appears to be ripe for environmental change. However, if we are too late--even if we're not--are biospheres legitimate alternatives to living in a chemically-laden, polluted and toxic "natural" environments?

  1. probably not.

they spent a lot, down in Arizona, i think, and had to abandon the project far short of the goal.

seems no matter how much money you have, we just don't know enough to create a sustainable biosphere.

  2. Things are getting better all the time. If you do some research you will find the environment was a lot worse off 50 years ago than it is now. Even though nothing is going a fast as it could things really are getting better all the time.
