Are black cats really bad luck?

cause i walked by one yesterday and then exactly a minute later i got struck by lightning. then i got my arm eaten off by a lion that escaped from the zoo today

Here in the UK black cats are considered good luck. In reality they are neither good luck nor bad luck - it's just a superstition with no basis in fact, like horseshoes and four-leafed clovers and so on.

LIGHTENING STRUCK ME AND I BECAME THE ELECTRICITY MAN, THEN I GOT MY ARM EATEN OFF BY A LION THAT ESCAPED FROM THE ZOO TODAY WHICH WAS REPLACED BY A BIONIC ARM WHICH MADE ME THE ARM MAN AS WELL BECAUSE IT HAD INVINCIBLE STRENGTH.
