I always hear white people saying if they were alone and a group of black people was walking toward them, they would be scared they were going to be killed. Is it the same the other way around, if a black person was walking by himself and saw a group of neo-n**i skinheads walking towards him/her, would they be scared. I want to hear what black people think about it, would you guys be scared, cautious, nervous, what? Have you ever been in a situation where you were scared of a white person, because it doesn't seem like it is possible to scare you, I only mean scared you in person, not like you were watching the news and was scared of the government.

  1. I think anyone would be afraid of a group of skinheads walking towards them.

  2. Of course, they are!  I know a black woman who developed PTSD from an experience that she was put through one night at 45 years old when pulled over and arrested for DUI.  She was treated horribly by white officers!  She just bought a car and is beginning to drive again.  There was no alcohol in her system.

  3. Even if we were in that situation we would not show the fear because that is what those groups of people would like to see in us. I've never personally been or have known any of my friends to fear white people. But I guess that pertains to the necessity of being brave in those climates because bravery is not the absence of fear but the ability to move through it. White people being afraid of Black people is a little different scenario than us approaching a hate group though but even so I think it is a matter of where you live and who you interact with. Walk through New York or L.A. and people that co-exist do not fear moving among each other.

  4. It all depends on the neighborhood.  Some neighborhoods are known for being harsher to blacks.
