It depends, I am half haitian and ive been to haiti plenty of times and i have met thousands of haitians, some are pure black ancestry some are pure white ancestry, some are pure asain ancestry, some are pure arab ancestry, and some are a mixture of any combination of the above, Unfortubately all the world sees is what is shown on TV which are the lower class pure black haitians and assume every haitian is just like that. The world woulod be surprized on what a strong strict culture haitians have even the one who deny their roots do to negative views of the world.
