  1. Yes.  Black Widow spiders inhabit most of the warmer regions of the world to a latitude of about 45 degrees N. and S.

The female black widow spider, though it is the most venomous spider in North America, seldom causes death as it injects a very small amount of poison when it bites. Reports indicate human mortality at well less than 1% from black widow spider bites. Anyone bitten by a black widow spider should seek medical care; an attempt should be made to catch the spider for identification.

  2. they are several spiders they have Northern and southern spiders and the one u see is the  southeastern  Black widow   but  they go where ther is alot of water and its hot. so You all have plenty of that. so be carefull..

Call your Local Terminex or rodent or spider killing agents.

  3. They have 'em in North Louisiana so I don't see why they wouldn't also be in the southern part of the state.
