I have Blue eyes, mom has blue eyes, but my dad has brown. I know nobody with blue eyes. I think they are.

it depends on many things. your race, your parents, your grandparents, and many other things. they are not very rare. more rare than blue is green. green eyes are rare, but brown eyes are the least rare. i am positive.

Blue eye is recessive. Brown eye is dominant. Of course blue eye is rarer than brown eye.

Blue eyes are actually very common amongst some ethnic groups. However if a brown eyed and blue eyed person mate then 3/4 of the offspring will be brown eyed since that is the dominant trait.

blue eyes are rarer than most other colors (e.g. brown, hazel, green etc.) but still pretty common

it really depends on which geographic location your in (e.g. Scandinavia has many blue-eyed people)

as OKIM's answer... blue eyes is recessive while brown eyes is dominant.. and that why there is a lot of brown eyes people in this world incomparison to blue eyes people.. its all about dominant and recessive things..
