  1. their not like on the tv. but they dont suck either. come on. theres no parents ever, boys are walking distance away, u have windows in your dorm rooms (hint hint sneaking out), rich boys, preps, privileged lives. its fun. good education=good future

  2. I guess it depends on why you are going to a boarding school.

If you have a unique talent or special academic skill and the only school that provides the quality you need, I would think a boarding school could be great. Many college freshman live in dorms--not a whole lot different, except the supervision level.

If you are going to a boarding school because you need structure, discipline, de-toxing, or you are unloved at home, then I would think any school would not be appreciated.

I think you are getting a skewed view from both sides. How do you know all these friends that go to boarding schools? Going to a boarding school is not the norm in the US.

  3. i wouldn't beleive what u see on t.v. so i would take your friend's advice.

  4. Ummm, some dont. alot do. It depend on what kind of person you are. If you like structure and tradition, it may not suck so bad.

  5. Are you thinking that Zoey 101 is an example of a good boarding school?  It is extremely unrealistic in almost every way.  How are all your friends experts?  Do they all go to boarding schools themselves?  Boarding schools vary  a great deal from one another.  Some are extremely conservative and traditional and others are quite liberal and unstructured.  Some are almost impossible to get into unless one of your parents are alums and others are geared towards students with learning problems or emotional problems etc.
