Are bonsai trees hard to maintain?

I want to get a bonsai tree but I first want to know if it will be hard to keep alive.

i dint think a bonasi is hard to grow . at walmart they have bonasi s that are of a ficus and a sago palm and a ponytail palm just follow the directions  on it also go to your library and look for a book on bonasi . good luck.
