  1. I prefer Polos due to the fact that you can control how tight they are and they form to your horses legs. Boots are good if you are just doing light riding but don't offer the same amount of protection. To prevent your polos from somehow coming loose use tape the same colour as your wraps to secure them in place (just around where the velcro strap is, about two - three rounds)

  2. Over jumping is not related to the horse's leg wear. You can use whichever you prefer. I prefer boots myself because they are quicker and easier to take on and off, are easier to put on correctly (no bandage bows), and clean up easily.

  3. Boots all the way. I'd say polos aren't very safe for jumping. If something happens and the horse rubs, and the polo somehow comes undone, you could be looking at a very dangerous situation.

    Stick with boots.

  4. I would say boots definitely. I like the look of polos, bu they don't actually support the leg at all. They keep the lowerr leg muscles and tendons warm so there is less chance of injury, but they don't provide any actual support. Jumping horses are landing hard on their feet so I would go wiht a boot which will provide suppor. Look for one that says shock absorbing

  5. I prefer polos because they have better coverage and you can know that they will fit. You can also get them in cute colors and designs ; )

EDIT: What would they rub against to remove the straps on the polos?
