I have one that is a border callie and he is a medium sized dog but that may be because he is part cockapoo which is a small dog so he has short legs and a big body. His name is Gobi.

They are medium. They weigh between 35 and 50 pounds. I have read about them in different dog books. This one book "Dogs at Work" say's they are that heavy which makes them medium.

They are pretty big compared to say, a dachshund, but definitely smaller than a lab. They need a lot of exercise so that makes up for their size.
