Boxers like Floyd Mayweather... who looks like he shaves and others that rely on speed than anything else, do they shave for a purpose?

If they are like swimmers and cyclists, they don't shave while in training because hair is resistance. Then, for a bout or race, they shave to reduce that resistance and thus make them move faster.

I never shaved my arms, nor did anyone ever mention it or suggest I do so.

Now my armpits on the other hand....
