Are broadleaf deciduous and coniferous trees all found in the tropical forest?

There are tree genera that have species in both climates. Quecus (oak) have tropical and temperate species but you do not find the same species naturally growing in both.

English oak is Quercus robur then in the subtropics are the live oaks that are not fully deciduous like the Quercus virginiana. Quercus conzattii is found in Oaxaca Mexico and another tropical live oak is Quercus oleoides.

Nothofagus grows in Tasmania, and in the tropical mountain areas of Papua New Guinea and in parts of tropical Australia. It has 4 groups in the genus as they have evolved separately but all retain the characteristic deciduous leaf drop from evolving in more temperate times.
