You could go that route but Bromine is relatively expensive compared to other sanitizing methods. It's usually only used in hot tubs, indoor residential pools or pools where the owner has a sensitivity issue with chlorine. Also, once you go Bromine, should you change your mind and want to go back to chlorine, you'll need to dump the pool. You can go from chlorine to bromine, but you can't go from bromine to chlorine. It's not compatible since the bromine leaves bromide ions in the pool water that will interfere with how chlorine works.
