  1. they are named after buffalo NY hence the name.

    they are made of chicken

  2. Come on, you are really Jessica Simpson, aren't you.  No, the wings we all enjoy were first served in Buffalo NY at the Anchor Bar.  That is why they are called Buffalo Wings everywhere but in the western NY area, where they are called chicken wings.  Real wings need to be deep fried and seasoned with "Frank's Redhot" and butter only.  The ratio of butter and sauce determines the heat level.  They also can only be served with celery and blue cheese!  No ranch dressing aloud!

  3. Buffalo used to have wings many years ago. Back then, buffalo wings were incredibly delicious. Unfortunately, as the white man over-hunted the buffalo, the availability of the wings dropped. Luckily, some enterprising individual overheard someone say 'they taste like chicken', so he tried making 'buffalo wings' out of chicken wings. It was an instant hit! You can still find real buffalo wings every once in a while, but they are super expensive because there aren't very many buffalo around, and poachers tend to cut their wings off before they grow to full size.

  4. Why of coarse they are. They have become so popular that it is hard to find a winged buffalo anymore.

  5. Only if you are Jessica Simpson!
