Are cameras allowed at emos in austin tx?

im going to a concert at emos in austin tx and i was wondering if anyone knows if they allow you to take your camera for the show or not?

Depends on the act. Most of the time it's not a problem and then sometimes they make that announcement, Trust me when they make that announcement they are serious. I have seen them throw people out.

Yeah, I've never had any problems.

The only time they will not allow cameras is if the band that is playing specifically requests it, but I've never actually seen that happen.

Yeah. I've never had a problem taking my camera in there, and there's always tons of people taking pictures during the shows and stuff.

Yes they are, but I wouldn't suggest filming the whole thing, as depending on the act you may get jostled and pushed around. Some people do mosh (to everything!), so if you get bumped don't worry. Taking about 10 pictures per set should be enough, so you can keep your spot and still enjoy the show
