Signing a business contract for a company based in Canada who does business online - is their document legally binding by US law? How does that work?

  1. I would imagine that there are some that aren't considered to be legal in the US.  But contract law is pretty much the same from country to country and if the prerequisites - offer, acceptance, and consideration are present then a contract exists, even if it's not written, so it would be hard to think that a contract with a foreign country with whom there is a trade treaty wouldn't be legal.
