Are canaries interactive with humans.?

I was wondering if canaries were interactive. could you teach them to go on yo finger even when there old.

sometimes, but if they get startled outside the cage, its very hard to retrive them. i recomend not getting them to step up out of the cage, but inside instead. much safer. if you want a small interactive easy to care for bird, go for the budgie! they are the greatest.
