  1. No. The caribou can be found in Alaska and in Canada south through British Columbia to eastern Washington and northern Idaho. It is also found across the northern regions of Europe and Asia where it is known as the reindeer.


  2. No, caribou are indigenous to North America.  Uruguay is part of the Pampas region of South America and cows (imported from Europe) are the largest animals to thrive in the area.

  3. No, but in Argentina and Uruguay you will find some deers (andean deers) which some people get confused with Antilopes or Caribous.
