  1. u dont have to walk cats. they dont need much more than makin sure they have food n water n a clean litter box. then just cuddle with them when they feel like coming around. dogs need to be let out n exercised. u can leave a cat home for a day by themself n they are self sufficient enough. dogs will tear ur house apart if u leave. get a cat if ur lookin for easy. but dogs are more loveable.

  2. oh, heck yeah!  Dogs are like mini kids in how you have to take care of them!

  3. cats are generally more independent than dogs, which requires less work, such as walking them, washing them, playing with them at times you don't want to, etc. while cats, you just need to feed and clean them, that's basically it.

  4. dogs are much easier because some people do not like cats and the dogs are more friendly

  5. it depeds because cats clean themselfs and you don't have to take them out unlike dogs. Cats scratch alot more than dogs. Dogs need lots of exsercise and you have to take them. you have to groom alot and play with them. So ya cats are a easier to take care of then dogs.

  6. Cats normally require less attention than a dog.

  7. pretty much, yeah. they wash themselves. all you have to do is feed, water, pet, and play with them

  8. I have a cat and a dog and I can tell you that my cat is much easier to care for  than my dog, but I love them both equally!

  9. I used to own dogs until a friend of mine gifted me with a cat. I never thought that cats are easier to take care. All you need to do is give them food and clean their litter box.  they'll p**p or pee on their own, unlike the dogs you have to walk them.

As far as being fun, i found out that cats are more fun to play with. If they are not in the mood to play they just give this 'leave me alone" attitude which i think is very interesting and that's the time i would mess up with the it. That's fun!

  10. yes esp bc you don't have to walk cats

anyone who says cats aren't as friendly as dogs is wrong.. it all depends on teh breed.. my cats greet me at the door play fetch and are great with kids!

  11. well dogs are more fun to be with

cats are very easy to take care of all you have to do is feed them

    water

    p**p

    and pe

    clean them

    and dhats it

dey are also fun buh you always have to pet them

and this is what i do with my cat, tie a thick peice of paper to a long string and run around the house with it

the cat with run after you and its really funny

  12. The fact that cats understand the concept of the litter box amazes me more than enough for me to consider the problems of scratching and the occasional throwing up insignificant.  :-)

  13. Yes, dogs are harder to take care of than cats.

  14. yup

  15. Over the years, I have adopted both cats and dogs, and -- although both have their "pros" and "cons" -- must admit that cats are generally much easier simply because you don't have to walk them regularly.   Even if your dog is trained to go potty indoors (on wee-wee pads or fake grass), s/he still needs at least 30 minutes or so of exercise a day -- even the small ones.

However, BOTH cats and dogs require a time commitment -- I don't mean just spending quality time playing, petting, and feeding them daily, but also you need to realize that a small cat or dog can live up to 15+ years!  Be sure that you are willing to commit to taking care of ANY animal before bringing him or her into your life, since you can't just throw away your pet because you've grown bored.

  16. When you own a cat, you live in their domain. Cats.. put food out, clean the litter box... pretty easy.

  17. yes cats are. they dont need the attention dogs do. they tend to take care of themselves you have to feed them and give them some attention but unlike a dog you dont have to walk them. cats are much more independent all animals need someone to love pets are great

  18. Cats scratch your furniture even when you might not think they did it. I rather have a dog {start out with a puppy first}, because they are more playful.

  19. Totally much easier then a dog  ,I have both [Three cats and a dog] my dog is easy to take care of  maybe because shes a small dog[smaller dogs are a lot  easier to take care of then big dogs trust me] like yorkies ,maltese, corgies, etc. but if your mom said no I would ask if a cat would be okay.. cats are fun to  and a lot less work GOOD LUCK!!!

  20. cats are so easy compared to dogs

Dogs, you have to wash, get them groomed, walk them, and much more

Cats, all you really have to do is feed them, and clean our their litter box, they dont need to be washed or walked at all, they take care of themselves
