Are cats supposed to snore?

I have an orange tabby cat, named Tigger. He snores when he sleeps. Is that normal for a cat?

some cats snore, not all. i know mine does when he steels my pillow at night and wakes me up with his hideous snoring. the cat and hubby i think have competitions to see who's louder.

It's normal. It means they are very relaxed, and comfortable with you. When he snores, he's just in a deep sleep. My cat does it - I think it's adorable hehe.

Please change your diplay name. I have a tiger tabby and a himalayan cat and none of them snore, nor have i heard any cat snore.
