  1. no,they are plastic with a metal film.

    biodegradable means things that decompose.

    plastic is recyclable.

    paper and food are biodegradable, other things are recyclable.


  2. no they are not biodegradable.  the best that we could do with those is to recycle it at this site:

    this is the only plce that recycles these.

  4. CD's are not biodegradable, they are designed to last a hundred years  and not lose information, if you keep them in a dark , cool place.  Sun will destroy them.  If you leave one in the rain and sun you will see what I mean.

  5. CD's are not biodegradable. They are made of metal and plastic. (Metal, sandwiched between two layers of plastic.)

      Plastic is made of oil and will  take millions of years to decompose.  it does not matter if it is recyclable or not. Metal will not decompose at all.

      

      Biodegradable things include paper, cardboard, and  food.
