Are cell phones cheaper when you buy them online or in the store?

Mostly online. You can with a click of mouse check several prices of a phone. Yahoo has this price comparison feature. It basically checks several website's price for an item and gives you a list.

Typically people give you the "well this is the price either you take it or not" in store. They just assume you won't price stop. Which, most often, people just assume a phone price is the same in every store.

Online is the way to go.

if you are signing a contract then it must be at least $200 cheaper in the store. If you are just buying cash and carry then much cheaper online.
