no i don't think so because shops seem to freely sell them, but i wouldn't personally have one in case it breaks while you were holding it or something, you'd have to have on ehell ofa grip though :)

Yes, but only where you live.

Only if it is commercial property or property for rent or lease. And then only if not required by historical code. The concept is that the public must not be endangered even by a remote a possibility as a broken ceramic or glass doorknob.
