Are ceramic pads good for slotted/drilled rotors?

I order some drilled/slotted rotors with ceramic for my 03 Golf GL, was told that the ceramic pads would eat in to the rotors quicker then the oem pads? Plus these new pads don't have the sensor in them, any relay plug for it also?

  1. Hi there, that is fine nothing to worry about that but first you should visit the websites on net because it will helps you more so I am student I have search about the ceramic tile and different kind of marbles types so if you were interested visit the website which is given below in my opinion it will helps you a lot.

  2. no it is not good for it.

  3. that is fine, the material is not important the finish is key, (this should be perfect from the factory) however you made a GOOD decision with the ceramic rotors that are drilled/slotted because they last longer (they dissapate heat faster and thus perform better and are more resistant to warping) also the material isnt a metal and doesnt corrode, if you can get the pads ceramic too but trust me your not doing any damage.
