Are certain Groups somehow hidden from general view?

I wish to rejoin a group that I was once a member of but cant find even though I know the exact name (centralsportsinc). I dont know how i left the group in the first place. I try to subscibe via email but that doesnt work and the inquiries from the group owner never reach me.

Yes, adult groups are not found in a regular group search.

I did a regular & adult group search and the group you speak of did not show up in either.  The group might have been deleted.  If it was deleted, your would have no longer been a member of it.  Since you don't know how you left the group, more than likely the group was deleted. This would also explain why you cannot subscribe via email or contact the group owner.
