Are chapati's and tortilla wraps the same thing, just different names for different countrys?

i have used both of these products at cross purposes, tortilla wraps as chipati's and chipati's as wraps, nobody seems to pass any coment, they certainly taste the same to me, are they the same thing just with different names depending on which country are using them

I think the ingredients maybe from different countries. Im not sure though. Aren't chipatti's made from chickpeas??

No, they are actually quite different if you eat the proper home made ones, but the ones you buy in the supermarket are quite similar, so you can easily use them for either purpose!

they are different ad they do taste different. they are even made slightly differently. chapatis originate from india. i am an indian. i often still make it with my grandma. just trust me, they are different. and they taste different too.
