Are chavs dangerous in machester/england?

i'm sure i just answered this question, or a question like this, but it seems it's been deleted.

they really are nothing to be afraid of. The typical chav will be in his mid teens, scrawny, and will only act the hard man, when in a group with his freinds. ... you stand up to them and they back down.

i have a student job at a supermarket, and we get a group of 20 or more that hang around outside on Friday and Saturday nights. I go otuside on my own, and tell them all to clear off. they get a bit mouthy, but they are too scared to do anything towards me because they are cowards

so thats me on my own, against 20 of them, and they do as i say.

also, i've been running in my local park, when 4 of them tried to take my i-pod. i stood up to them, and when they saw i wasn't afraid of them, they didn't know what to do, and backed off.

In Manchester, the people you should be scared of are the people who carry firearms in Moss-Side (a district of Manchester) and seem to like shooting people.

compared to the gangsters with guns, Chavs are meer childs play.

The only reason they would be dangerous is if they are carrying some sort of stabbing device.

But then even a snail looks more dangerous when carrying something sharp.

They are just little kids, trying to be all 'ard' ,

Trying to raise their value in society by trying to intimidate people , and to have some sort of power over people.

..Of course that, with added rudeness,arrogance, and maybe a dabble in the illegal.

You just got to show them that you aren't going to let them intimidate you.
