Are chewable play houses good?

I have a fat hamster and i was wondering if those wood things with like holes in them would be good for a FAT SYRIAN hamster.

probably not he may gnaw through it or the material may be harmful

ye chew keeps there teeth down there be no probem u just have to replace it every now and then

Definately. If he's fat though, just make sure that the holes aren't too skinny for him to fit through. You can get a wood or rawhide home, that he can gnaw on.

careful about wood houses.. if they get really wet, and stay wet for a long time throw it away..

they sell them for hamsters so i dont see why there would be a problem with it.
