Are children supposed to make people happy?

Children are not "supposed" to do anything but be themselves, and grow into productive members of society.

Children are supposed to be children. They have their good points and their bad points.

However, as a person gets older and has buried friends and parents, that person matures to an understanding of aspects of life over which we have no control. A well manner young person reminds us of the chain of life, and often reminds us of ourselves and our innocence, before we grew up and got beat up by life.

children them selfs dont make people happy its the thought of raising your child teaching your child, its you lil mini me thats all yours and the things they say and do make people happy. their innocence is what makes their presence so wonderful

Not all the time. They do remind a person of the ordeals of life once in a while.

Truely spoken like someone with no kids!!! U are probally selfish--maybe they wouldn't make YOU happy but they would probaly stop you from making an A$$ out of yourself on yahoo!
