Are chinese guys really traditional when it comes to asking out girls?

How well does he have to know the girl? And would he ask out a girl who's about 10 years younger than him?

for me i will date a girl younger than me by 10 yrs and i am traditional.

i will get to know the girl first to know wat she likes, dislikes, her character and beliefs. this is not for giving points in being selfish or ruling out miscandidates which many girls see us this way. in fact, it is for us to have more options, ways and ideas during the date to make her more enjoyable and memorable. which lady wouldnt wanna enjoy a date right?

It depends, I am a Chinese guy who aren't that traditional when it comes to asking out girls really. Then again, that's probably because im under the influences of the American culture.
