Question:

Are christians to be feared?

A question was asked earlier regarding atheists who don't "go public" because of the ramifications.

Has anyone thought that the only ramifications that come, would come from christians?

If christians are the religion of love, tolerance, comfort, acceptance and understanding, why would any atheist fear going public with their stance?

Are we to fear the christian employer, doctor, teacher, etc.? A man or woman running for President should have nothing to fear from the religion of love.

  1. As illustrated by the atheist soldier in Iraq, yes, they are to be feared.  No religion that bases itself on the belief that we are all sinners and that most of us are going to a place of eternal punishment can be said to be tolerant.

  2. The answer would be yes, when they are in groups of 2 or more people. Mob mentality is always scary.

  3. Pfft. My man if you saw the size of me you'd understand that this Atheist doesn't fear much at all. Except my girlfriend...she's a different story.

  4. Implicitly NO, they should not be feared if we lived in a perfect world where everyone was of the same knowledge and agenda.

People take stuff out of context all the time to fit their wants and way of life. And there are exploiters that are in the community that are fanatically crazy about it and take everything out of context and cause harm, as is any way of life.

To answer this question fully comes in two parts.

A good christian that is grounded in there bible and is filled with the Holy Spirit. The answer is a resounding NO.

A bad christian that reads what they want and stops reading and understanding cause they have heard all that they want to hear.  More times then not. The answer is Yes.  For they are the ones who ruin the name of the church.

  5. No, they should be cherished, and indulged. After all, one day, they will evolve into Humans.

  6. There are those among you who believe in a book that tells them to kill "unbelievers / g**s / witches  " and more and have acted on it!    When you revise your book to delete the instructions to commit murder, the rest of us will be a bit more safe!

  7. Followers of the Flying Spaghetti Monster have no fear in their hearts towards those of the Christian religion, nor do we feel malice towards our friends the Athiests.

Someday the Christians will be touched by His Noodly Appendage and embrace the love of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.  Until then, those not saved by the grace of the FSM will have to live in fear of the mobs of 'Jesus Walkers.'

Athiests, remember, you are always safe in the Church of the FSM and in the arms of our followers.  We do not require conversion, as our love goes out to all.  We will defend the innocent against the growing scourge of (malicious, as all good Christians will be Touched eventually) Christians.

    rAMEN.

  8. Safety in numbers :(

  9. Actually, you can trust us.

  10. No, Christians are not to be feared but do fear God.

    GOD BLESS!    AMEN!     SHALOM!

  11. Hey! We ARE a religion of love, it's just that you need to believe in Jesus otherwise we'll make your life miserable!

  12. Christians are a great force of corruption in our society. They have taken true Spirituality and corrupted it into something boring and negative. They are really not to be feared though cause if you fear them then they have you a little bit under their control. Control is pretty much all their religion is about. Actually as soon as you fear them that lets them in a little bit. They use fear to convert you so fear is bad. You want as little to do with them as passable. I know they claim to be all loving and such but the truth is they only think they are. If they really were then they wouldn't care if non Christians lived a life of sin or if you were not a Christian.

  13. Fanatical people of any kind are to be feared very much.  Scary ain't it?
