just wondering if Ireland could be used for a cigarette/booze shopping run and a long weekend as a change from France?

  1. You need to quit smoking buddy!

Think of all the things you couldve gotten if you wouldnt've spent your money on cigarettes. Your not just causing harm to yourself but to everyone around you. Be more considerate of others.

  2. No they are higher due to high levels of tax. a twenty box will cost you 7 euros 5 cent compared to four something in england.

  3. Yes I believe so, but have not smoked for 5 years now so don't quote me.  On the other hand booze is much more expensive, in Ireland a cheap bootle of plonk will set you back €10 (about £7.50) in the supermarket.

  4. maybe €1 or so. not significant.  I'm from UK and live in Ireland, if it was the case, I would be doing it and most of the people of Ireland and UK
