  1. I have heard that coffee enemas detox the liver. Look up Dr. Bernard Jenson. He was a nutritional "guru" and is world famous and taught the world a lot about the benefits of colon cleansing. He had an institute in Lemon Grove Near San Diego California. If you can't find his institute, look up Yvonne Sklaar in El Segundo, California. She is a naturopath who studied with him. Her business is called "Creative Health Alternatives". She can give you her 30+ years experience re: coffee enemas. But if you are interested in cleansing your system, these are terrific resources for you to learn more about what you are doing.

  2. No, not really.  It can cause spastic colons and diarrhea.  Enemas are really to be used for constipation only and if you're constipated then you're really not getting your daily doses of fiber, fruits and veggies.

  3. Most of what I have read from medical professionals do not suggest colon cleansing.  If you are constipated, use a common laxative.

  4. Umm, there has GOT to be a better way for you to warm your coffee up.

Anyways, you should dilute the coffee w/ water and for heaven's sake... don't pour it right from the coffee pot.. as it will most likely BURN YOUR BUMM!!

If it causes cramps or discomfort, then I sure as heck wouldn't do it.  Have fun!

  5. Ask Dr. Personally I like to drink coffee. But they do have a purpose sometimes. Ask Dr. In the meantime, I'm gonna have a cup.

  6. No.

    I suggest DRINKING your coffee.

  7. Coffee enemas, or colonic errogations, involve flushing out the insides of your bowels.  It works by the fact that the caffeine enters your body but your digestion system immediately rejects it along with everything else in your bowels.  Sounds refreshing and I've heard it is but my parents's friend had quite a few of these as she said they get quite addictive and so you can start to look very ill very quickly.  Some equate it to being anaemic.

Also, remember those adverts about "bacteria friendly yoghurts"?  Well whether you believe those drinks can help you or not, those bacteria do exist and unfortunately, enemas flush those out.  Not good.

My advice is not to have an e***a but if you do, remember that it's not a "quick fix".  The problems you had the e***a to solve will just come straight back.  Why not search the web for some dietary changes?  I know it's tough but enemas can actually be quite dangerous.
