Are color shades limited in tattooing?

In other words, are tattoo artists able to make darker and lighter variations of a color? Such as mustard yellow, rich maroon, etc?

Sure they can do this, but why wuld you want one

Depending on your skin type- some colors may not show up on you- your tattoo artist will let you know what colors would work the best with your skin color.

yes you can blend colors for custom blends

I have an eye prolly the size of a nickel the top is dark brown and the bottom is almost white.  It fades the whole way dow with tons of shades of browns inbetween.  There is more to the tat than that but is shows you can have any color you want.
