Are colour contact lenses harmful for your eyes?

No they arent because its just a lense that goes over your eyes that makes it turn a color, therfore its the same as a normal one but just has color. The only way that it could be harmful is if you stick your finger to get it out but then you accidently poke your eye that happened to me once and it made my eye slightly red but it went away in 2 weeks.

colored contacts are typically the ones with some of the lowest O2 transmission, so they're not the GREATEST for your corneal health...

but in general if they're fit well they're not "harmful".

it gets harmful when they're abused, tho (wearing lenses w/o a Rx that dont fit, TRADING lenses with your buddies, etc etc)
