  1. Cobert makes fun of him all the time. but i never hear anyone else do it. probably because when a white guy makes fun of a black leader they get labled as a racist

  2. Apparently you do not watch Stewart or Colbert.  I knew there was at least one person not tuning in.

  3. Didn't you see Obama talking to the troops? It wasn't a written speech.

The reality is that if Obama made those gaffes all the time, you Republicans would be ALL over it in the media. Don't give me your bull, I can see right through you guys.

  4. Pretty much.

I suspect they're afraid of being labelled a racist if they make fun of Obama, which might harm their careers.

The closest most seem to come is making fun of the press's response to Obama's campaign.  Although, most of the media have become little more than paparazzi when it comes to Sen. Obama, and they deserve to be mocked for that.

  5. Yeah, it's creepy, isn't it?   Guess they are all just into that shiver running up their legs, like Chris Matthews.

I think Obama is lost without a teleprompter, which is why we have YET to witness an actual town hall meeting.   The few times he's been caught without a script, he puts his foot in his mouth, as you pointed out. . .

  6. Republicans are WAY overexerting the gaffes...

they get a video of him stumbling over his words for 5 seconds and all of a sudden "he always stumbles over his words"

in comparison, Dems gave Bush a fighting chance before bashing his speaking abilities...

I've seen him speak on and off teleprompter... maybe one slight messup was all I noticed... which is better than average, even in politics...

and "it's always bad to say always" is an old saying... not sure where the magic gaffe is there?

  7. Yes they are..And I think You know why.

  8. What gaffs are you talking about. My question would be why all of a sudden the word "gaff" keeps coming up. It seems the media is actively looking for them. Obama does not usually talk with a teleprompter, as he was giving a a news conference in Jordan, using one would not work. McCain is renowned for using one, and sill stumbling.

And look at comedians like Jon Stewart. He usually does no poke a lot of fun at politicians but more the system. On his program today he was making fun of how the media was going gaga for Obama. A little bit of sexual jokes as well, i.e the media gets an Obamoner.

  9. Only because they don't want to be accused of being racist.

  10. quite the contrary, the comedians have been laughing it up with both of them. Obama gets more attention with everything because the guys popular and exciting.no matter what you think of him,you cant deny  his public appeal.McCain would kill for numbers like this...

  11. Someone would scream racism. Besides the great orator told us everything worth laughing at is off limits. What a spoil sport!!
