Are confederates still fighting the war of northern aggression?

We all know they keep giving your rights away to all the ethnic minorities and trying to force you to give up country music in favor of rap. So are you fighting albeit in a cultural preservation way?

I love that "War of Northern Aggression" when it was the South that attacked 1st.  

The Northern Army had holed up in a FEDERAL base built with money from other colonies and President Lincoln had asked to negotiate...the reply was an attack.

yet some people still refer to Northern Aggression.

Oh well, whatever floats your boat.  The South was fighting for many good and many bad reasons just as North was.

If other cultures and ethnic minorities can claim opposing 'hate groups' are committing acts of aggression, why can't southerners?

Actually, we've gotten passed that and want to live and let live. We will continue to be as proud of our heritage as others are of their own heritage, and we have that right. When pushed, we'll shove back, and do it in a big way. You won't be able to miss it; the message will be loud and clear. And peaceful.

You don't mention the Confederate flag, but as an example of the way we are fighting in a 'cultural preservation way", The Sons of Confederate Veterans in Tampa plan soon to raise what they claim is the world's largest Confederate flag on a private triangle of land tucked near where Interstates 75 and 4 meet. The flag measures 50 feet by 30 feet.  

The flag is political speech so it's not like they can do anything about it. You cannot simply discriminate because the message is one you don't like. The soldiers who fought and died for the Confederacy deserve the same historical deference as those who died fighting for the Union cause. They are veterans who fought for what they believed was right for the country. Just as the veterans of the war with Iraq deserve deference whether you believe in the cause or not.

To use your example of music, if we tried to ban rap music from our community (although I'd have to get rid of country music, too. I can't stand it. Rap either.) We’d be called racist, clinging to our guns & bibles, fundamentalists with nary a brain in our small minds.

If we took black people to court because they were flying an African American flag on their porch, or wanted everyone who worked where we worked to remove the Pan-African flag bumper stickers from their vehicles, we'd be fired and called racist, gun toting, bible thumping, hillbilly fundamentalists.

I'm going to take your question as a light-hearted attempt to have a bit of fun with my culture and not be offended. I hope you can do the same thing when the shoe is on the other foot.

How interesting that an "Indian" living in the "UK" harbors all the backwoods prejudices and nurses all the ugly slurs one would normally expect to find in an uneducated  southern redneck.

Could it be that somewhere in that inbred, pin-headed little closed mind of yours you got the completely original idea of pretending to be an Asian so you could spread your hateful screed with some semblance of credibility?

Somelike to think they are, but they are just starving for attention.  They feel that by clinging to th confederate flag it will bring about change, when it only goes to show their ignorance.  They also claim it's about heritage when the confereracy lasted for 5 years, but that is also why a lot of racist cling to the n**i flag as a symbol of white power, when they were never a part of the n**i movement, nor are they German.
