  1. Oh, why certainly.  Standard eyeglasses are going destroy the earth and all that live on it.   Everytime I see someone wearing eyeglasses, I think "I wonder how animals and plants died because that person is wearing those glasses."

  2. Actually, it's not a ridiculous question at all. I have recently had to swap to using dailies and I worry about the wast product involved with daily contact lenses.- a lot of plastic packaging. Likewise with monthly disposables- the solution bottles are not recyclable so they creat a lot of waste. It is better to go for glasses, as not only can the glass be recycled in the normal way, but Oxfam and other charities run schemes where the glasses can be donated to people in poorer countries who would have to suffer from poor eye-sight otherwise. At the moment vanity is the reason I wear contacts but I do worry about the waste.

  3. No? What does that have to do with the earth?

  4. Extremely.. its better for u just to be blind then wear contact lenses... but seriously that is one of the worst and most unintelligent questions i have ever heard of in my whole entire life!!
