  1. Glasses are better for your eyes' health simply because glasses don't involve sticking something in your eyes.  Contacts, if cared for properly, though, are a safe alternative.  They can be more comfortable than heavy glasses that have to rest on your nose and ears.  But if you use contacts, you have to be very careful to change them regularly (as recommended, depending on the type you have) and wash your hands, etc., before handling them to prevent eye infections.

  2. Not really. It's not like its healthy but it does relieve the stress of having to constantly take care of your glasses and beauty-wise. It really doesn't matter. Ha. But there are cons to having contacts!

  3. well I am not really for sure about your eyes health. But I got contacts about a month ago and I absolutely LOVE them! I play Volleyball and I am the libero and glasses just held me back. But with contacts you have to make sure you have the right kind of solution(to keep from getting infections) and then you have to have clean hands(trust me it hurts when you put them in with lint on your hands(it burns but only for a second or 2) where as with glasses you wouldn't have that trouble. But overall i say contacts are better for me, my friend isn't that way she can't wear them(they irritated her eyes) but both glasses and contacts have their pro's and con's!!!!

  4. The 24 hour ones seem a safe idea, although the expense is a factor.

Most decide to go for contacts for cosmetic reasons, not for health reasons.

I wear glasses and can't face the idea of sticking a lump of plastic in my eye!!

  5. in the short term- it depends because you may like your contacts because u can see better with them and like your appearance better and be able to do certain sports and whatnot

in the long term- not really no. cuz u can get all these infections and problems with your cornea and this and that. but if u plan to wear contacts for say a couple years or whateva i guess its aiight then if you have no problems
