  1. Actually, no, they need permission.  We had a problem with this at our church.  People were complaining that the church was allowing them to use our parking lot, and we got it stopped with the church/state argument.

Yes.  It happens all the time.  Most people like to have the Police around and don&#039;t care if we use their parking lots to monitor traffic.  If asked to leave we would need to but in all of my years I have only been asked to leave once by a property owner.  I just went across the street and sat in another lot.

  4. In the United States they can with permission of the property owner.

  5. Not unless they have permission from the private propery/business owner. Although they are allowed to go wherever they please, they cannot use ones private land to their advantage without permission.

  6.   Yes. In some jurisdiction they must have permission of the  owner/manager of the property, and in some jurisdictions they don&#039;t.

  7. Yes. We can sit wherever we want, and we do.
