  1. Officers are everywhere.  There is at least 1 officer assigned to a certain district.  They get calls all over their district therefore travel on all roads to get to those calls.

As far as specifically "running traffic", it depends on what they are looking for.  Sometimes they sit and monitor stop sign violations in neighborhoods.  Sometimes they sit in school zones monitoring those speeds.  You just never know where they could be.

  2. Busy main roads,

    more traffic=more arrests.

  3. The go-getters are on the busy main roads looking for action. Much more drunks/suspensions/warrants on main roads then back roads.

  4. on weekends where i lived the cops were on the back roads more because they knew that the people drinking and driving would b avoiding the main roads..

alot of people were caught that way...

  5. A little but of both. Police Officers have something called a "Beat" which they are assigned everyday. A beat is a certain area an officer patrols. They do this do they can didpatch the closest officer and have the quickest responce possible.

    Example of a Beat:

Beat 67: Spooner RD to Redgear RD East and West

  6. think about it. how many donut shops are on back roads?
