Not closely.  You're probably referring to the color similarity between black and white cows and dalmations --- they are both due to selective breeding by humans to create a distinctive appearance.  You might also be interested to know that there is a type of horse that is white with black spots!

    In the taxonomy of animals cattle are in the order Artiodactyla, while dogs are in the order Carnivora.  This is when they split and are not longer related. :)

  12. No. The only relation I can see is that they are both mammals. Why don't you do some research on DNA sequencing and encoding??? 96% of human and ape DNA are the same. Cows are cows and dalmations are dogs. Yeah. . .just do your own research.
