  1. "will it be able to die"

I'm pretty sure that it would be able to die after drinking milk. Unless it's Super Cow.....duh duhnuhnuh.....SUPER COW!!!!!!!!

  2. well, baby cows drink milk, so i wouldnt think a cow maturing would make a difference. i assume it would be like humans, we are born lactose intolerant, or we can tolerate it

  3. We had a cow that could contort herself and completely suck her front quarters dry.

  4. Actually, I've never heard of a grown cow drinking it's own milk. I've raised cattle for years and never heard of this. But, I'm sure it wouldn't hurt it at all. As far as calves, we've milked some of our older cows to feed our new  born calves.

  5. Lactose is specially designed for baby calves to drink. To digest it an enzyme called lactase (β-D-galactosidase) is secreted by the intestinal villi, and this enzyme cleaves the molecule into its two subunits glucose and galactose for absorption, the production of lactase gradually decreases with maturity. Lactose intolerant is the inability to digest significant amounts of lactose, the predominant sugar of milk, and is the most common food intolerance among Americans (since most other countries do not consume any or much milk) In fact, 30-50 million Americans or at least one out of ten people are lactose intolerant. This inability to digest lactose results from a shortage of the enzyme lactose, which is normally produced by the cells that line the small intestine. Lactose breaks down milk sugar into simpler forms that can then be absorbed into the bloodstream. When there is not enough lactose to digest the amount of lactose consumed, the results, although not usually dangerous, can be uncomfortable and include many symptoms. So since milk is made for babies, a full grown cow  most  likely will get sick, like humans do.
