Are crt HDTV's any good?

Question

I mainly play video games (PS3, Xbox360) and watch dvd's and movies off my computer. I've gone to Best Buy twice but I wasn't really impressed with the LCD HDTV's, and the plasma TV's are super expensive.

Is buying a CRT HDTV a good choice?

i have a samsung crt slim widescreen its really great!
