Are cutter receiver gloves the best gloves for football?

  1. I play receiver and I wear NFL Equipment. It works just fine, but gloves really dont make a difference. It's how you play. Most of the receivers on my team wear cutters and say that they work just fine, so if you like how they feel go right ahead and get some. Make sure, however, you wash them weekly so they stay sticky and have good grip.


  2. There is no best glove.  It's whatever is comfortable for you, how much padding you want to fit your style of catching the ball.  At most a glove is only going to help prevent it slippage from your fingers.  At the expensive of losing feeling for the ball from the material/padding.   Which is why you usually do not see Qb's wearing them.  However in their case, feeling is alot more important for throwing accuracy. it's all just a personal preference.
