Are dailys or monthly soft contact lenses better?

I'm doing the comfort dailys Specsavers trial at the moment, but they feel a bit scratchy, are the ones you take out and clean every night better?

If you clean them after 10 hours of wear could you wear the monthly ones for longer in the same day?

i'm wearing dailys & they're better than some of the longer wearing ones. your eye irritation is probably due to dust/smoke, or dryness. wet them with eyedrop compatiable with contacts. sometimes i keep my dailys on for a week or more with no problems at all. however, once in a while i need to go without contacts for a day or half. i've been wearing contacts for more than 20 years now.

This is always a question that is best put to you rdoctor as they are the only ones that can see what the lense is doin on your eye and what kind of a response your tear layer is having. Your doctor should be the one deciding what lenses are best for you. Then they should present that to you and you should decide what youa re willing to pay for and such. You really do not get to pick just any lense. The people in here do not have the knowlege of the many different lenses that are on the market! They only know what they have worn! Your doctor has access to hundreds and knows your parameters and what is available that is best for you and your situation. Talk to your doctor about it and let them see what the lenses are doing. There are also more than just one kind of daily disposable, so go to your doctor and see what they say. They will give you the best answer.

Dailies are better than monthly as it is being throw out after one use. One good brand of dailies are proclear one day and monthly shd be from bausch&lomb. Do try it out.
