  2. trinys are some of the most beautful people around.. i work with alot of them and there great..cheap but great haha. ohhh and the darker the better baby. well maybe one triny i know is cheap haha.. the rest are ok.

  3. ok, sweetie, in Trinbago every body (well almost everybody) brown skinned - different shades of brown, but brown non d less.  and if you dark and smooth.....all them men going to be drooling over you.  Love your colour, love your self.  Take off the thing on your head, and probably change your eyes to ah s**y dark brown, and you good to go. and dont study the people who dont like the color of your avatar.

Nothing looks better than a big, smooth black man, yummy. lol yeah, the one who makes you look at him twice. hehehe.

  4. well i see de Trini posse had a good laugh with dis one.

Nah man here we luv yuh even if blue....infact we love black it on we flag, in we ground (oil) sh it people does paint demselve black for carnival

maybe a small bunch of people may have that opinion.

  5. We all know how this classifying of skin color got started.  It started during slavery when the slave masters / overseers use to rape Black slave women and when their lighter skin child was born they were slaves also, but they were treated better than the dark skin slaves.  They had different categories of slaves; the house slaves (which was lighter skinned ones), the stronger dark skin slave women/men were the slave breeders, and the puny dark skin slaves were field slaves.  The lighter skinned house slaves were taught to snare and look down on the dark skinned slaves because they were said to be ugly and unattractive.  This caused a lot of animosity among light skinned / dark skinned slaves. One class thought they were better than the other.  Instead of being proud of their original color and characteristics some were brainwashed to hate themselves / feel inferior because of the very harsh treatment they got from the massa.  Some wished they were born light skinned at that time.  Sad to say but, this same slave mentality still follow some black people today.  The type of categories black people were put in during slavery, is still going on as of today.  Just open your eyes and say it loud (like the late James Brown said) I'm Black and I'm Proud!

  6. LMAO @ ashti

  7. yow, sis, don't be drag down by people who think your importance has has anything to do with your skin tone. It is character, intellectuality, charisma, comliness and (curves, fi real) self-assurance that makes one attractive, ugly people come in all colour, some ugly  like teargas dem burn yuh eyes an waan stop yuh brett.

people here say all sort ah nasty tings, put up yuh African shield. show dem dat if dem liv in ah glass house, dem shudden fling stone, fling bak bigga stone, bruk smaddy head. Yardie an Trini posse hav yuh back.

  8. Nope. My mudder is dark as dark can be. She is the most beautiful person inside and out.

But tuh tell yuh the truth, honey dat avatar eh doing nothing for you. Doh get meh wrong, lose the ting on yuh head, lighten de make up and yuh good tuh go.

Check out friggg and de others, real cool.

  9. It's not the colour of your avatar that's ugly...It's the make-up...lol

And,  in Trinidad and Tobago...and any other country...all dark skinned people are the 'bee's knees' (so to speak) Meaning...They are 'HOT'

  10. girl black is beautiful be comfortable in your own skin and forget about what people think or say about you you are unique in your own special way

  11. Ashti is jones oui..LMAO @ Ashti..

  14. I ain't go lie to yuh, no, but at some of the club and bars they discriminate. In the '80s it used to be out in the open yuh getting blank for yuh color. Now how they doing it is by pricing us out.

It expensive to go to some clubs.

    It expensive to buy drinks.

It expensive to play in carnival bands.

Yes, it out dey, but if yuh have money everybody is your friend.

  15. I don't think darker skinned people are considered unattractive in Trinidad and Tobago. Both of our Ms. Universe winners are beautiful, brown skinned women. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I have seen some smooth skinned dark men that have made my mouth spring water yes!

  16. one of my friends was from Jamaica and she called herself dark because she said she was the dark one in her family.  It is true that she was darker than her sister, but I dont see how that would make her ugly.  she was so beautiful, and I kept telling her this. Some guys like lighter skin girls when they are dark and some girls that are light, like darker guys...I have olive skin and I like a darker shade on a guy...but I have no preference if God should pick a light or dark guy for me...I would still love him...

your avatar is very beautiful and don't let other people's opinion affect you in a negative way.  Opinions change everyday, so base yourself on who you are inside and out... something beautiful !
