Are dean guitars better than fenders?

ok so my friends guitar is a fender strat, and mine is a dean strat, and he thinks that his is better than mine but i highly dont think that a fender is better than a dean. soo i wanted some back up thoughs

Fender is better than dean.  Gibson is better than both of them.  But it really kinda depends on the type.  For electric guitars Gibson and Fenders are just as good.  Dean sucks.  For acoustics Gibson owns Fenders.  Dean sucks.  For basses, Fenders own Gibson.  Dean sucks.  So yeah, Fenders are better than deans.

I owned a Dean strat copy made in korea.  It played better than a mexican strat, but the electronics on it failed after about 3 years.  The neck was a lot faster, and the tone was just as good.

Cute question.... of course Fenders are better. Fender INVENTED the Strat. Everyone else is just copying it. Dean guitars are ok, but they can't hold a candle to an american Strat.
