  2. Yes, some ideas are difficult to get to or are very complex from one point of view.  In order to wrap one`s mind around such broad subjects, it is best to have practised doing so beforehand.  Then one acquires thinking skills or capabilities.  One step at a time.

  4. Yes, some people can look at one thing, and see so many different outcomes

    Pro: brings out choices

    Con: hard to choose

    Others see the more concrete facts

    Pro: Lets get it done

    Con: not prone to choices

    Some are good with numbers, see the structure of situations

    Others are good with words, sees the creative side, the possibilities

    but

    nothing is ever set it stone

  5. Yes. Strategic thinking is necessary for longer term results while tactical capability resolves immediate issues.

    Similarly, lateral thinking is necessary to resolve unusual problems whereas deeper thinking is necessary to get over complex problems.
